The new(ish) SEBLOD 2.5.x live plugin for Joomla 2.5.x has been both a godsend to the community it seems, myself included! I developed this plugin when I was creating a web site that needed to establish list results from a SEBLOD search that were based on live values from the article. Considering that the system never has such a live plugin, what better way to solve that than to develop one myself.

SPAM was becoming a bit of an annoyance on some recent Joomla! powered web sites I was developing, especially via contact and comment forms. The solution? Create a SEBLOD field plugin that takes your public and private keys from your Re CAPTCHA account and turns it into a beautiful ReCAPTCHA validation field that behaves just like a native SEBLOD field, can be placed on Admin and Site forms, and can be positioned anywhere on any template position as any other CCK field can.

Today see's the update release of my SEBLOD field plugin 'SD Field Concat' Version 2.1.3, a field for concatenating the values of other fields in a CCK form with both user variables, pre-defined date/time variables, next auto increment ID of article, plain text and more.

Thought of as more like an 'enhancement' of the Joomla core, Seblod CCK allows you to create rich content types by creating fields of nearly any type (text, check boxes, images, files, youtube and so on), assigning it to a content type and easily creating the means for your users and administrators to add pretty much any type of content to your site. Site owners / administrators have complete control over the display of such content too.

I have released the SD Concat Field which takes any fields, any plain text and a few pre-defined variables and makes them one value. There are two fields to enter data into: Field List and Field Separator. The separator determines how values are separated (-, _, | etc).
